PeachFest, Georgia’s first responsible culinary festival highlighting the almighty peach to benefit charity hits downtown Atlanta this Sunday, August 13 from 4-7PM. The list keeps growing with more than 65 food artisans, pastry chefs, barkeeps, and sponsors collaborating on memorable culinary experiences filled with inventive takes on classic peach dishes! Watch and learn while chefs roast, smoke and grill locally raised heritage meats paired with Georgia’s iconic stone fruit and more. All-inclusive tickets start at $60 (VIP includes 60 minute early entry and exclusive tasting of cellared wines available 1999’-2012’ in the silent auction and are $100). Children under 5 are free and we hope they like ice cream socials, Hawaiian shaved ice, and snow cones aka ‘The Original Peach Puppy’.
— Come Celebrate National Peach Month!

PeachFest, named after Georgia’s most iconic crop, aims to celebrate all of this great state’s agricultural diversity – from the namesake peach to blueberries and peanuts, heritage breed pigs and Vidalia onions. Chefs will prepare dishes with peaches, barkeeps will make Bourbon Punches, guests will sip cellared wines, and all will love the music from Packaway Handle and DJ. All proceeds from the event and silent auction will go to charity and planting peach trees in the city. Some of the city’s biggest names in hospitality will take us on a journey that is both delicious and inspiring. Don't miss your chance to join a culinary initiative to support our local harvest raised by family farmers in Georgia.

Our Goals include:

Help Raise Money for Charity with a Silent Auction
Celebrate Georgia’s Best Farmers and Spirit
Discover a New Way to Experience Downtown
Enjoy an Honest and Good Culinary Event

Activities include:

Support Education through Consumption & Celebration
Learn about Agri-Tourism through Local Producers
Eat & Drink & Be Peachy

I am pleased to support and welcome the first-ever PeachFest to downtown Atlanta, I encourage both residents and visitors to attend this charitable event which will not only benefit local family farms, but provide educational resources to our community. Over the last seven years, our city’s downtown corridor has seen tremendous growth and investment and I look forward to having the festival in our city for years to come.
— Mayor Kasim Reed

If you love peaches, its a perfect Sunday place to be. The event will include samplings from wineries, distillers and brewers. A satellite beverage competition includes “The Peach Punch Royale” (the city’s top barkeeps create the peach infused bourbon punches) and cellared wines in the Silent Auction area.

FlatironCity is the Official Host, located in the Fairlie-Poplar district of downtown Atlanta. The three-sided historic tower has been re-imagined as nextgen office space and incubator for start-ups. They are a perfect host to help build a street-level festival under the tree canopy on Broad Street.

Sunday, August 13th, 4-7:00 pm
Broad Street NW and Poplar Street NW

The goal is simple: to create a foundation that will ensure family farmers have resources to run successful businesses which will clear a path for new farmers to raise safe and honest food for generations of children and cooks to come.
